Whole Heart has a passion for ministering to its mothers as well as its children.
We believe that community is essential when walking through the wonderful, and sometimes challenging, journey of homeschooling. We believe one of our greatest resources is the wisdom of fellow mothers who have taken the same path before us. For this reason, mothers meet, minister, and encourage one another on a weekly basis on Tuesdays from 9:30 to 11:30am in our Bible/book study time and small group discussions. To facilitate this time for moms to meet together we offer the following programs for your children:
Childcare is provided for infants through preschool aged children
K - 6th grade children attend Whole Heart Primary classes
7th - 12th grade students attend classes, study hall, or volunteer in childcare or Whole Heart Primary classes
In addition to Tuesday morning meeting time, moms serve in various capacities:
Managing classroom supplies
Managing supply closet
Managing building supplies
WHFM special programs are provided by our moms who serve on committees such as NCT class trip, WHFM yearbook, WHFM end of the semester dinners, social events, room moms, NCT graduation, used curriculum sale, and service opportunities. For the convenience of the moms, these committees meet one a month during a portion of the Women's Ministry time.
