Whole Heart is passionate about ministering to moms!
We believe that community is essential! Whole Heart was founded by Sally Clarkson on the premise that mothers dependent on God are critical to the process of homeschooling and that we need to support one another in this incredibly rewarding, yet challenging, journey. We believe one of our greatest resources is the wisdom of fellow mothers who have taken the same path before us. For this reason, moms meet Tuesdays after chapel, from 9:30 to 11:30am, to encourage one another. During this time we engage in Bible study, we read books together and we have time in large & small group discussions. Additional social events that enable connection beyond Tuesday mornings are also offered. Participation in Mom’s Ministry is required and essential for all moms. To facilitate this time for moms to meet together, we offer the following programs for your children:
Childcare is provided for infants through preschool-aged children
PreK - 5th grade children attend Whole Heart Primary classes
6th - 12th grade students attend classes or volunteer in childcare or Whole Heart Primary classes
In addition to Tuesday morning meeting time, moms serve in volunteer roles such as:
Snack coordination
Kitchen setup/cleanup
Playground supervision
Yearbook
Graduation
Facility Management
Special Event Coordination
WHFM special programs are made possible by our moms. For the convenience of the moms, these committees meet throughout the year during a portion of the Women's Ministry time. These programs are fundamental to our community and serving on a committee is required for each member of Whole Heart.
